Welcome to From Shabby to Fabby!
We are located in Winfield, Illinois and offer a wide range of refinished furniture and repurposed wares, all with French Country/Farmhouse style that has an inviting vintage feel, perfect for any home.
In the spring of 2015 I began carrying two paint lines which I just adore using myself. They are Fusion Mineral Paint and Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint, and I am so proud to be able to help bring these paint lines into your home.
I selected these paint lines to carry not just because I love personally using them but also because they are easy for beginners who are just starting their paint journey and because they offer such a beautiful and durable finish. Milk Paint is so much fun to use and there’s nothing else quite like it. It’s the only paint you can use to achieve a natural chippy finish and it can also be used as a stain. Pair it with the antiquing or white wax for beautiful custom looks or seal it with hemp oil for a wonderful water resistant finish.
Fusion Mineral Paint is extremely durable, cures to a waterproof finish and is full of wonderful products that help you create any look you are going after. Glazes, Metallics, Fresco, Sandstone, Embossing Paste…There’s nothing you can’t do with this fabulous stuff!
Have you seen the fun and fantastic Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) projects all over the internet yet? I am thrilled and excited to say we carry the full line of these wonderful products. You will find the transfers, moulds, stamps, clay, inks, stamping blocks, etc., on our shelves in store and in our online shop. This line has everything you could ever want to make your creative vision a gorgeous reality!
If you’ve read about these lines but haven’t worked with them yet and would like to chat about a project, please send me a note. I love working with my clients to help them achieve the transformations they are working toward. A little paint and an IOD transfer, stamp or mould can really transform a home and I would be honored to help.
Be sure to check back frequently for upcoming paint and make and take classes.
